[ even after the feed begins, it's a few moments before anything of note comes into view. the lens of the communicator shows the view of an open window. of the sky beyond and the light that filters in. it's nearly picturesque, at least until a soft jingling sound is heard, and a brief flicker of gold jewelry fills the screen. the communicator is turned, without ceremony, away from it's earlier perch and now focuses on a young woman.

she looks to be wearing a sheet, and the excessive gold adornments certainly make her look regal- but her expression is far from pleased. her chin rests in the palm of one hand, and her bored look is turned to the communicator and thus, the city at large. only then does her mouth open, and-
