[...Man, it's been a while. If it wasn't for how much he abused the tower defense game Jade had put on his comm, the thing would probably have a layer of dust on it by now. Things had been quiet for him, in the days following Christmas. So much good had happened, followed by...well, no, he wasn't going to dwell on it. Jade was back, safe and sound. And a lot more like her Christmas gift to him this time, but Yosuke was still getting over that particular weirdness.
It was almost the new year, and a lot had happened, hadn't it? Not to mention, there was a few things he needed to sort out. Imposing on Souji's hospitality (even if it seemed like Souji...sort of liked it, but eh, that was awkward to think about) couldn't go on. Or, more accurately, leaving Karkat alone with his dog couldn't go on. He'd learned a lot more about trolls lately but...still. What if they ate dogs!?
Yosuke clicked a few appropriate settings, waiting for the little 'recording' light to blink on. Cue big smile.]
Uh, hey. [He waved, surrounded by...well, trees. Karkat may have been housing Lucky, but Yosuke was still expected to take the little fluff ball out on walks.] Hope everyone is having an okay New Years Eve. I was just taking a break with...[There was a ruffle of the comm falling to the floor, followed by a flash of wild-eyed pomeranian, before everything resettled to Yosuke holding a small rust-colored puppy that seemed convinced his face was made of delicious, delicious bacon.] Lucky-chan, here! Cute, right? Jadey got him for me. He already knows how to--blaergh!!
[Nothing like getting dog tongue in your mouth at 7AM. Yosuke set Lucky back on the ground, rubbing furiously at his mouth before he seemed to remember he was recording something.] --Uh, but, speaking of Christmas! I had a really good one. I was kinda busy in the morning...and then again after, but. I just wanted to thank everyone for their presents. I, uh...just you wait until I finally round up oseibo for everybody! [Late, but still.] Seriously, though...thanks.

Oh, uh, there's one more thing. I've been staying with Souji Seta the past few days, but...well, he's got a cat. I've got Lucky. [He smiled awkwardly.] Plus, having my own place seems cool. Is anyone looking for a roommate? Or, uh, does anyone want to move into a new place with me? I've got a job running Triple AAA, and I'm looking for a second one, so...I'm not a deadbeat! I guess not anybody too neat-freaky would be nice? I mean, Souji's my best friend and all, but...yeah. Chill about dirt is good.
[Yosuke looked more at ease than he had for the entire month of December, and smiled with genuine happiness when he finally cut the feed with:] Oh, and must like dogs! Seeya!
