[The video opens to a view of the kitchen, except you'd never know it since it's pretty much stained in black splotches and pieces of miscellaneous food (maybe - who knows if it was ever edible) laid about. Natalia comes stepping into sight a second later, oven mitts over her hands and between them a giant pot of do-you-even-want-to-know? That sound might be it growling to be let out...]
I... have a hard time just waiting for news. They should have let those of us that can still fight take the place of the people that returned. [She huffs down at her cooking pot and it seems to grumble in response.] But it would do no good to cause more problems, so...
This is something I think I will share for this coming "Christmas". I worked hard on it [because she was losing her mind just sitting around] and I think it came out very well!
[Finally, because there's no way you couldn't have been on the edge of your seat for this, she sets the pot down on the nearby table and lifts the lid. Steam rises immediately and Natalia removes the mitts as she moves toward the mirror-communicator. The DEMISE network gets front row seats to her newest concoction when she brings the results of her cooking adventures into view. Whatever it is, it's dark brown with floating bits of green and black mixed in... Appetizing, right? Behind the device she speaks in a low voice] I should have Luke test it first... [and then the feed cuts out.]
