I want to do that but I don't want him to be upset.

A bit......Sex here it's different than how we do it in my world, but people explained it to me. More or less. Mostly everyone told me to go read books in the library.

I'm sure he won't mind if you explain that you'll be stuck awake if you try sleeping in an actual bed because you aren't used to it.

And umm... the reason I ask is because "trying to get someone in bed" is slang for trying to get them to have sex with you.
