The End of An Era

On November 30th of this year, my paid Livejournal account will expire and I have no intention of re-newing it.

That’s kind of a strange thing to think about. I started my LJ back in January of 2004, so it’s lasted quite a while. That’s just about ancient considering the average lifespan of technology.

It has really been a fun place to hang out

I'll be here, this is my journal. I don't write too much on FB because I have a lot of people that I don't know that well on there but I want to keep tabs with. Here, I write about my personal opinions which I prefer to keep to a smaller audience. Sometimes I just write for the hell of it and don't want the comments that fb might produce. ;)

yeah, i know what you mean. i read occasionally still but not with any regularity. tho' i have a permanent acct... oh well.

Yeah, I haven't written anything for months and months. I think after a certain point you just get to busy keeping your household to actually spend time writing in a journal. I just wish Facebook wasn't solely the domain of the quick, cryptic update, its like the single serving friend of livejournal.
