What I did last summer
I never got organised enough to post these pictures, but- this is what I spent last August doing- decorating my room.

Before (drastically over-lifted, probably because it was taken at night):

Another before (believe it or not, this was when it was tidied, more or less):
After, from two angles (I seem to have avoided one wall altogether in the first shot, though that might be because it was night)
When I was about to do it, I was kind of wondering if I'd made a mistake getting rid of that pretty marine blue/green colour (it was paler then it looks in the pictures); when I had been away I remember going up there and it being wonderfully uplifting and soothing; but I don't think it's lost any of that, and it looks a lot more grown up now. Plus, the layout really needed revising. (That cabinet-thing on the wall is actually a fold-down laptop-desk. When I bought it I didn't realise it was going to be quite so much like a filing cabinet, but it still looks okay.)
