(no subject)
Otakon/HP crazyness happened, but now I'm getting back into the swing of things~
Finally got everything straightened out with my two roommates, Ally and Steph, for next year with the "who's bringing what?" and "what kind should I get?". I have a pretty intense shopping list to go buy for. We have a kitchen and a bathroom for ourselves, so we have to include almost like...everything for the kitchen except the fridge and dishwasher. Iiiit will be glorious and I am super excited.
I went out this morning to look for sheets at Kohls and they legit had NOTHING :O NOTHINNNNNNNNNGGGG. They only had 2 that were the right size and they were both horridly ugly. But I did get some pretty colored fluffy towels :)
BUT I'M SO EXCITED TO HAVE A KITCHEN NEXT YEAR!!!! CUPCAKES FOR ANYONE WHO VISITS XP
I don't move in till the 5th tho, which is like....after everyone else that I know. They're having a boat cruise for incoming freshman, which I'm going on. That'll either be fun...or incredibly awkward. I hope that my room mates will go and we will have bonding times :P Esspeecially because I'm not sure if Alex is going :X
But yessssssssss.......
Went to the beach the other day. It was nice~ I'm not a huge fan of the water, especially because MA water is FREAKIN FREEZING O_O But I do quite enjoy lounging in the sun doing nothing all day :P
While at the beach my madre mentioned that the rents might rent a cottage near beaches in new jersey during otakon, and stay there while we do the whole Otakon thing and then meet them there later and stay for a while. That plan sounds preeeettty excellent and I hope that it happens, because that would be a vacation. Aaaand believe it or not, other than going to cons and visiting family, I have never been on a vacation. Ever. I mean it.
I'm going on a plane for the first time soon too. We're visiting my aunt and uncle who live in Iowa on the 6th. Soo that'll be exciting. I'm not really too sure 'bout this whole plane thing tho :/ I keep joking with my family that they should bring sedatives for me...and I'm halfway not joking...at all. But that experience will be good I guess. I haven't even been to an airport before :OOO
On the other hand, I am incredibly bored. Spent the whole day getting the super shopping dorm room list straightened out with Ally and Steph, watching the food network while cleaning and playing Wii Fit. Alone ....in the house....for the past 9 hours. So yea....
