(no subject)
Bonjour! Sorry it's been a while since my last update. But, despite my lack of employment in real life, I've recently taken on a position modding the community textsecret. As such, it seems only right to pimp it (some more). It's a really awesome community, especially for those of my friends who love stuff like PostSecret and Found Magazine. Basically, you go to the submissions post, anonymously post a secret, and then the secrets are posted for people to read and comment on. It's pretty awesome, and always interesting. So, yeah, go check it out!
In other news, like I mentioned above, I'm still looking for a job. I applied at the Good News Cafe, which is where Ben used to work and where my friend Mike works now. I really, really, really hope I get the job, because I've always loved that place and the people who work there are awesome.
I'm not looking forward to going back to school at all. I was unsure about going back because I have no idea what I want to major in at all, and I put off registering for so long because of that. When I finally did register it was because my mom wouldn't stop bitching at me about it, and there were so few classes left that I picked kind of random stuff just to make her happy. I think I'm going to end up dropping one or two classes and just not going full-time. They didn't end up giving me any financial aid because there were no funds this semester, so it's not like I'm going to lose out on that or anything.
The other night I let my friend Justin (who was probably heavily under several influeneces at the time) write on my shoe. He wrote: "The other night I ate Florida oranges and felt ill. This has never happened before. Kayla W. has hard cheeks." It made me laugh.
