(no subject)
Well, Church Basement Ladies has started and oh boy. My nights are filled with Minnesotan references and menopause. Ugh. Save me. The audiences EAT IT UP every night because they're old and can find similarities in their church kitchens. It's cute and I get it but it's no Producers :\
I had my graduation party this past Sunday and it was wonderful! Jai's large family was there, my grandparents, uncle, aunt, and cousin were there. My Mom's cousins were all there as well. Even my core group of MGR friends came as well as Eric, a friend of mine I haven't seen or heard from in about 2 years. My Mom and aunt had a caterer friend come and make TONS of BBQ and they even rented a tent which they set up in the front yard. The weather was warm with a nice breeze - couldn't ask for anything better :D
I've been doing a lot of design work for work and I really want to get back into web work. What I would like is to have a website with a joint blog that Kevin and I can update together while we're living in Japan. He's definitely up to the idea and that makes me happy. His dad even offered to give me space on a domain he doesn't use.
I also really miss taking pictures. I want more time to go out and visit places with my camera. In fact, i was in Circuit City today and was so tempted just to buy a DSLR but knew that right now just wasn't the right time.
I really just can't wait to get to Japan already. Kevin's a little over a thousand miles from Japan and a little less from Guam. He'll arrive within the week/next week, stay a week, then head up to North Korea. From there, he'll go back to Guam and THEN back to Japan for good. Then I'll get there. I can't wait to just get off of that excruciatingly long flight and collapse into Kevin's arms. That's not too much to ask for, is it?
