smelling like second hand smoke and drinking Root-beer from a glass shaped like a cowboy boot...this is what I though college would be like. We just got done watching the V.P. debates on t.v. and as much as I hate to admit it, Dick Cheney represented. In no way am I ever going to vote Bush and at the moment I am wearing a hot pink Women Against Bush t-shirt. But my friends and I noticed that Cheney ran those debates like a punk high school student, with the underhanded jabs at Edwards voting record/senate attendance, "I am the president of the senate and the first time I met John Edwards was tonight before this debate." It was excellent, like he was going to make his point and then under his breath be like, "p.s. you're mom's a whore." Edwards seemed to eager to express his love for Kerry, I think they are not just sharing a platform if you know what I mean. We can only hope can't we. Also Edwards seemed too North Carolina for my tastes, as if he was going to start repping the N.C. and then tear his shirt off and swing it over his head. Final thought: It's a good thing these v.p. debates don't matter because this wouldn't help Kerry.
p.s. just to say it, Kerry did kill in the first debate however. That man makes Bush look like more of an idiot than he already is...classic line, "What about Poland."
