(no subject)
So folks, it looks like i'm directing a play this summer if everything goes smoothly. it is going to be a show called All in the Timing by David Ives. It's hilarious and should work with the talent pool that's available. It'll be a fun side project to keep me busy this summer.
Word on the street is that the only show I could successfully direct is The Vagina Monologues; well to these doubters I say this: If you checked out that show, it was fucking genius, due to the pack of awesome ladies I got to work with, so it's nothing to scoff at and second to suggest that my talents only end there means that 1.) You are vastly unfamiliar with my other previous theatrical experience and 2.) You're an ass for thinking that the only show a woman like me is capable of directing is a feminist collective revue type production, because chicks like me are capable of shit you couldn't even dream about.
Now that this is all out of my system I'm gearing up to spend a night sitting up chatting with my awesome sisters about life and then watching movies. Tomorrow we're then taking a family trip to Kickin' Vintage in Kato to check out the scene and possibly eat some noodles...here's hoping. Otherwise the weekend is almost here and that makes me happy. Also my interview at Paper Factory went really well so we'll add it to another possible place of employment.
