Help? (Facebook Is @#*^&%! With Me, I Think)
I just went to log into Facebook to look at some pics of a newborn family member. It asked me to register my computer, and said that if I clear my cookies, I'll have to re-register the device. Does this seem like an invasion of privacy to you? Or am I being to touchy?
I'm a technomoron, so all I can think of for why they're doing this is to collect information about how many devices each person uses to log-in, and whether they're mobile devices or not. It just seems rather Big-Brotherish of them, and I don't want to play along unless I have to...
ETA: Apparently the problem is that I was a little too thorough when I locked down my profile and checked a box that has FB keep track of how I log in. Fixed now!
