Queensland Flood Appeal

Good morning or good evening to all,
As you may know, most of Queensland has been affected by floodwaters. These floodwaters have also progressed into northern New South Wales. Thousands of people are without homes, thousands more without power, and many are cut off from leaving their towns and cities. With the rivers peaking and beginning to back off, the damage to the country is obvious. At time of writing, 15 people are dead and around 55 are missing, with little hope for 12 of those missing people.
I live here. This is my state, my home, my beautiful city. I'm currently waiting for my volunteer call so I can get out and help with the clean-up. There's no point in going out if I don't know where to go, so I'm waiting.
