i have a new computer from fry's, and with it i got a new flatscreen monitor. considering that my old computer was from 2001, it was about time for a new one. i also ordered dsl. i have been on dial-up since forever, and i suppose that if i am going to be paying $xx.xx for internet service, dsl is faster. duh. it only took a week of convincing to get me to realize it was a good move. as soon as the dsl hardware gets here, i am in bidness.
i also bought a dishwasher. it will be here next week. it is necessary. it will help me feel better about my kitchen. and i won't have to come close to beheading the offspring over the fight to get the dishes done. just a few prods from the pain stick should get her to load and unload the machine.
i have lots of food in the house. my freezer and fridge and cabinets are filled up.
i fixed the cat. he should stop peeing everywhere. i hope.
i paid the big outstanding dentist bill from, like, two years ago. and then i paid more to get some work done on the offspring.
i bought some new clothes at the not-discount clothing store. i need to go through my wardrobe and edit out all the things that are too shabby and too small. and then i need to do laundry.
i haven't done anything exciting remarkable, but i have been just catching up with things that need money to make them happen.
i feel like there are a bunch of things that i am forgetting to get now that i have the money.
i am still debating the whole car upgrade idea, but i think my honda cen last another year or so, if i treat her right.
