I know that subtitling programmes is a thankless job. That subtitlers are, on the whole, dedicated and conscientious people, providing a valuable service. And that we all make mistakes.
However...

Granted, subber in question might not be especially familiar with the series, but surely even a cursory five minutes' seconds' worth of viewing should establish beyond all reasonable doubt that there is no reason, in the name of all things fluffy on God's green Earth, why anyone would ever dare refer to Malcolm Tucker as a gerbil.
This is a gerbil. Small, cute, furry.
And this is Malcolm. Gaunt, "the all-swearing eye", psychopathic.
