while i shimmy and shake
to begin to fake it all up
a play, a mock, a game
a shock.
a shimmy, a shake-a silly
tail light break.
while im shaking it down
shake shake shake
its sentence, a structure
formula and induction.
brilliance and maleficience
fighting their way
through the shimmy
and shake
shake shake-
the build up and the break
down
up
into pieces and
struggle to wrap it all up in to
packages.
pushing buttons like its a plague
on my senses and
failing all previous
or unborn tenses.
digging and drowning
singing and browning
it all up with onions and mushrooms
and ketchup and kerosene.
writing this garbage and throwing it out
stirring my senses and waiting it out
serving my shimmy and letting it out
striking the match and blowing it out.
so i keep it in mind
while i wiggle my behind-
while i shake shake shake
till it blisters and bleeds.
shake shake shake
till it festers and feeds
on itself and my mind.
till its crawling with worms and germs
and tickling terms
like shaking it down
shake shake shaking
it down
where it starts to finally drown
like im waiting it out
shaking it out
breaking it out.

im a slithering snake
