5 new books... the outing to barnes & noble was really exciting today considering it's the 2nd time i've been okay enough to leave the house in a week. now the difficulty is deciding what to read first... it's looking like lunar park but i can't be sure that klosterman won't lure me away first because it reads faster... dunno. regardless, it was great to get out and get some new stuff to do.
check this out, however... of the get well wishes i've recieved, this is one of the coolest:
the noodle figurine in the blue coat in this picture...
i got my very own tiny noodle. being the knickknack/figurine/plastic toys nerd that i am as well as a ridiculous noodle fan, this is an excellent gift. also, apparently, limited edition (2000 were made) and kidrobot (the makers) are sold out of them. i'm looking at the red edition (this is the black edition) one to give her a friend but they're probably mad expensive. not sure yet.
anyway. watching sports center showing footage of last year's sox team & listening to shite about how we'll never come back from a 2 game deficit against the chi-sox. oh, ye of little faith. want a cookie?
