This may sound like an odd question, but was he a jerk? A friend of a friend of mine recently met him in Chicago, and apparently he was really cold and standoffish with her despite being an online acquaintence of his (my friend and her friend were both huge fans of the State actually became friends because of that, believe it or not). So I guess she was really bummed out about that, and as a result, my friend was reluctant to even go to that show last night for fear of him being a jerk to her.
