That banner is stunning. The black ink on the back page makes the characters and the text pop out even more. And the drawing for part 3 of the girls? Kudos on the detail, depth, and linework. I can really feel the intensity in that girl's eyes, and all those old paintings really create this strange, creepy atmosphere. I really like the coloring in the polaroid too - those eyes and that rat - eee! Nicely done.

this art is fucking amazing!!! I was so drawn to the main cover piece I can't even tell you, it was so interesting and dimensional. I become so inspired by the myriad of techniques used in the fanart world and sometimes I think I REALLY want to try my hand in it...then I read something like this about gradients and opacity and I think nah, I'll leave it to the experts :)

That whole concept using the book is fabulous, but my absolute fave is the genius banner with the boys standing on the half open book. That is just wonderful. Made me clap like a seal!
