HELP!!! I desperately need a beta-reader:
Like I said, I'm doing a short-story writing challenge thing, and I really want to give this my best. Which means I'm going to need a beta.
I have 5 fics written so far, and a majority of them are in the World of Darkness canon and the rest is either original work or based on literature in general.
I'd like my beta to:
- check for grammatical and spelling mistakes (because sometimes, word document is not always that reliable)
- check for potential canon violations
- tell me what they think about the characters, so I can check if I conveyed the right things.
- act as a springboard that I can bounce my ideas off of and brainstorm with.
Most of the fics are around 800 words long and feature many, many internal monologues. All of them involve original characters. All of them have very mild ratings and don't contain any squick material.
And I won't be dumping a whole lot of fics on you. I'll roughly be churning them out at a rate of anywhere from one per fortnight to one per 3 days.
