I've just realised...but this fic has the exact same theme as our Area of Study this year...I wonder if I'm allowed to use fanfiction as related reading. I can write any number of essays on this fanfic, but I have a feeling our English teaching is not going to let me.
Damn.

I heavily recommend you read it right now, because it honestly is the best piece of fanfiction I have ever seen. The plot, characters, and prose are simply stunning. Trust me, you won't regret it.
Really, anything written by Mrs. Hyde and Das Mervin are awesome.
Anyways, thank you for your compliment. I'm trying my hardest to express how awesome this series is, but it's nothing compared to the original.
Please, please, please, go read it right now.

You've seen my style. I don't really do humour so much as literary analysis, and Wedding Crashers is just a cute fanfic that's almost nothing but spite.
Don't get me wrong, it's utterly fantastic, and it had me crying with rage, and cheering and fist-pumping at the finale...but it's just not 'serious' like The Darkest Hour is.
To talk about symbolism and literary techniques and so on would just ruin the fic, I feel.
It's a fantastic fic, but it shouldn't be analysed like I've done.

My fear of hearing just how much my message revealed about my own twisted nature has finally been superseded by my fear of your own health. And I'm beyond ashamed that it took this long to abandon that selfish cowardice.
So I'm posting this on the off chance that you still look at your Journal to ask are you alright?
I hope you are but hope is such an empty thing.
