Wizard Crackers! They whizz and bang and cause excitement and fun!
But enchanted ones do a bit more. They'll be at all the tables during meals for your characters to pull and get wonderful things from them. They explode like a canon and you get actual Santa hats from them, things like grow your own warts kits, wizard chess sets, white mice and non exploding balloons.
But there's a catch, when they were manufactured, some of them were enchanted with Holiday themed spells that were cast on one or both of the pullers of the cracker. Both don't have to get hit, unless it's the mistletoe.
The spells range from the list of the following
- You're enchanted to start singing Holiday songs.
- You're suddenly sporting a lovely set of elf ears or Reindeer Antlers.
- Mistletoe pops out of the cracker and won't let you leave until you kiss the person you pulled the cracker with.
- A Snowman appears and follows you around until they melt or you take them outside.
- You have the urge to act out a Holiday story. (You don't have to act out the whole thing, just maybe parts of it.)
- You have the urge to spread good will towards all that pass you by. You'll be a walking ball of positive feelings and encouragement.
- Glitter everywhere, all over you.
- One of the twelve days of Christmas spells appear.
- Enchanted Gingerbread Men will follow you around, climbing in to your pockets and bags.
These pesky Wizard Crackers will show up on December 5th and be around until December 16th, when a good batch will arrive for the rest of the Holiday season. Why are they around so long? Because you get to pick two of these spells for each character and when it will happen to them.
If you guys have any suggestions for Holiday/Winter themed spells, we will be glad to add them to the list. You don't have to let us know which one you're picking, we're going on the honor system that you'll stick to two. These spells will range from a few hours to a few days, it's up to you guys.
ALSO, TRY NOT TO HAVE EVERYTHING HAPPEN ON THE 5TH! This is a two week long event!
And enjoy Hogsmeade, you Hogsmeaders.
