Akito stood on tippy toe in Crane's office, holding a plate of apple slices. He was hungry, he needed to eat. Well, everyone did really, that must mean that the mask needed to as well.

The only problem was the glass case.

Crane had only be gone for a little while. He did have other obligations to uphold. With a stack of quizzes he needed to grade, Crane opened the door to his office only to greeted by.. an annoying sight.

"What, might I ask, are you doing?"

Akito turned around when he heard Dr. Crane speak. He knew he wouldn't be able to finish trying to feed the mask now that he was here.

"Having a snack."

Crane strode over to the boy with purpose and took the plate away from him. He set it down softly on his desk before walking around to take his seat. He let out a soft sigh as he pulled a stack of papers closer to him and began his ritual of grading papers.

Akito frowned as his apple slices left his hands. He was really hungry after all. Experimenting was just an added bonus.

"So... what'cha you doing?"

"I'm grading assignments," Crane answered, his tone noting how obvious this must be. "Did you come here for a reason? Or did you just come here to bother me?
