Mai walked into the Great Hall with quick steps, he wand held tightly in her hand. if she didn't watch herself, it just might've snapped in half right then and there. Usually she wouldn't let her self get this mad...it seemed pointless almost all the time. But this...this time it was different and she wasn't going to let someone like that girl stand in the way.

"I'm here."

"It's about time," Katara hissed, and tapped her foot on the floor. She put her hair up in a ponytail, and got into her fighting position.

*At that moment, Zuko and his uncle wandered into the Great Hall, chatting about something. Zuko heard two girls yelling at each other and looked up to see Katara and Mai with their wands ready* Oh shit...

*he ran up and stood between them* What's this all about? *he asked even though he was positive he knew*

Katara tried pushing past Zuko, "Get out of the way!" Her anger for Mai had surpassed her anger for Zuko at the moment.

*Zuko held onto her shoulders to prevent her from getting any closer to Mai* Katara stop. You guys shouldn't be fighting with each other.

"LET GO!" Fighting to be rid of his grip. "If I want to fight your girlfriend, you can't stop me!"

*Zuko winced at the last statement but didn't say anything to deny it*

"Now, I said- let go!" Starts waving her wand around in the air.

[imneverhappy]

"Will you calm down, please?" He let go of her, hesitantly.

[k_atara]

"Give me one good reason why I should!" Pushes herself away from Zuko.

"Uh..I," he sighs, "I don't have one..." Avoids looking at Katara.

Her glare gives way to an expression of hurt and she mutters, "Exactly."

"L-look.. you two still shouldn't be fighting each other..I mean.. all of this is my fault really.."

[k_atara]

"Why would you do that Zuko- why on earth would you go out with me if you still liked Mai?" She fought back tears, trying to remain in control.

"Uh..." Zuko looked over at Mai (who looked quite annoyed) then back to Katara. "Ugh I don't know, Katara. Maybe it's just because I like both of you and I don't really know who I like more."

She can't take it- she slaps him, as hard as she can. "Well then let me make the choice for you." She hisses, and storms out.
