Quidditch- Runner up, Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw

Jun 10, 2008 20:28

Welcome, everyone, to the final game of the Quidditch tournament. It will determine who takes second place- Ravenclaw or my very own Gryffindor. Ravenclaw has yet to win, but perhaps this will give them the incentive to try harder than every before! I wish them luck~

Ah, they’re off! Oh my- both teams seem to be going incredibly fast. It’s a bit hard to keep track- but Miss Suki of Gryffindor has the Quaffle, and is nearing the Ravenclaw goal posts. Miss Rukia is right behind her, but is unable to take the ball- Miss Suki scores, giving Gryffindor an early lead.

Miss Rukia is now in possession of the Quaffle, and has taken off towards the Gryffindor posts. She passes to another Chaser, but is intercepted by Kurosaki. And- and Gryffindor scores another ten points!

Haku Momochi now has the Quaffle, and maneuvers around Minami of Gryffindor. Ah! How unfortunate- a Bludger scratched him, and he fumbled the ball. Minami takes possession, and makes an about face to the Ravenclaw posts. Uzumaki hits away another oncoming Bludger- but nearly hits the Ravenclaw Keeper with it. In the commotion, Minami scores another ten for Gryffindor… but in the Keeper’s desperation to dodge the Bludger, he flew into one of his own goal posts! He seems very disoriented, and appears to be bleeding.

Oh dear- he’s being taken out of the game! How awful!

Um- it is now 30 - 0, and the game has barely begun. Which means that Ravenclaw still has plenty of time to make up the points! Miss Rukia has possession of the Quaffle once more, and looks grimly determined. She successfully passes to Momochi, but his shot is blocked by the Gryffindor Keeper.

Oh dear! The other Ravenclaw Chaser has been hit dead-on by a Bludger! Her broom utterly ruined, and she barely manages to fly into the stands. It appears that Ravenclaw will have to make do with two Chasers, while Gryffindor still has all three indisposed. This may make catching up rather difficult, especially since they are also without a Keeper.

Eh? It appears that Kurosaki has scored ten more points during the incident. Oh my. And still no sign of the Snitch! The Seekers seem rather nervous- especially young Lapine. His broom seems to be wobbling a bit- if I remember correctly, his last broom was hit by a Bludger in the last game…

Right, the game- it seems that the Ravenclaw Beater Sai, has hit Miss Suki with a Bludger. I’m sure it was an accident, but Gryffindor still gets a penalty shot. Their team now has 50 points, while Ravenclaw has yet to score at all.

The ball is given to Miss Rukia, who nears the Gryffindor goal… but fails to make a shot, once more blocked by the Keeper. Kurosaki takes possession of the Quaffle, and is guarded from an oncoming Bludger by Uzumaki. He scores easily, giving Gryffindor ten more points.

Ah, there seems to be quite a lot of commotion between the Ravenclaw Beaters- oh dear! It seems that Saii and Miss Lillie have collided! Oh, now isn’t that sweet? Miss Lillie is apologizing by giving Saii a hug and a ruffle of the hair. She’s so considerate~ Saii seems a bit unnerved, but I’m sure it’s from the collision.

Oh… and Minami and Miss Suki have each scored- respectively! My, the team is performing magnificently today! It seems like nothing can stop them. It may be up to the Ravenclaw Seeker to turn the game around, but there has been no sign of the Snitch. It’s taking quite a long time for it to appear. And- and Minami has scored again. This makes the score 90 - 0, and despite Ravenclaw’s best efforts, they have not been able to score at all.

Momochi tries to pass the Quaffle to Miss Rukia in an attempt to shake Kurosaki, but it backfires, as the Chaser intercepts and returns to the Ravenclaw goals. Gryffindor has an even 100, now, and Ravenclaw is struggling.

Ah, was that the Snitch? Both Seekers take off after it, and it seems the entire audience is holding it’s breath. But the Chasers have not let up- if anything, they have intensified- and Miss Suki scores another ten points for Gryffindor.

The Ravenclaw Seeker seems to be having some difficulty with his broom- it is shaking a great deal, and doesn’t seem to be going as fast as previously. Daisya has the lead, but the Snitch is outmaneuvering both of them and- oh, wait; it seems to have gotten away.

It also appears that Kurosaki and Miss Suki have scored again- giving them 130 points. It seems that Sai has accidentally his Kurosaki with a Bludger, giving them a penalty shot. The Ravenclaw Keeper is still out- it appears he has a concussion- and Gryffindor earns another ten.

Oh, the Snitch is back! The Seekers take off at nearly the same time, and as the close in on it, they appear to be neck-and-neck. Will Gryffindor’s lucky streak continue? Oh, this is so exciting!

Ah, Lapine’s broom bucks itself forward, letting him grab hold of the Snitch!

A magnificent game! Ravenclaw wins, 140- 150- oh, wait, excuse me.

What’s that, Professor? Gryffindor scored? Then- then it’s a tie, but…

They scored twice?!

My! It appears that Gryffindor has won, despite the fact that Lapine has caught the Snitch! The score is 160 -150. What an unexpected twist! An wonderful game, simply wonderful!
