Howdy!
I'm a long distance motorcycle rider, so having some way to listen to music is important to me. I have a pair of ER-6is that are hands down the best pair of earbuds I've ever owned; they blow away the Shures (too big to wear comfortably under a helmet), Kosses (crappy sound), or Bose ("Making overpriced crap for almost twenty years!") that I've used previously, so I have no regrets on that front. In the two months I've owned them, they're my favorite bit of gear I've purchased, and I recommend them constantly to other riders.
Unfortunately, I came home today to discover that my cat had gnawed through the cable to one of the earbuds, severing it in the process. Now, there's more than one way to skin a (for now proverbial, but I'm tempted...) cat, and I was hoping you might have some guidance for me as to how I could go about soldering this back together, or failing that, ordering a cable replacement, or failing THAT, where to send these for repair that wouldn't end up costing more than I spent on the earbuds to begin with!
Additionally, should you need the services of a (HIGHLY) destructive cat for your QA department, I've got the deal of a lifetime for you...
Regards,
Jay Chandler
