Sad but true
A short list of things I am excited about:
-the end of tax season and the subsequent closing of the office for one day in the middle of the week for recuperation. I plan on doing one or all of the following: lay around on the couch in all my stench watching movies and smoking bowls; lay around poolside and attempt to get some color on my white ass; lay around in bed reading Vogue. Any way you look at it, I'm doing a lot of laying.
-the finale of Top Design tonight and not because I think it's a fabulous show. I tried to like it but turns out it was just an inadequate substitute for Project Runway. Anyway, I am looking forward to this last one because a)I know Matt will beat Chista and I find her to be highly obnoxious and b)after is the premiere of "Shear Genius," the Jacquelyn Smith hosted hair dresser competition. This show was totally my idea, folks, and I squealed with delight when I saw that my television fantasies were being actualized.
-tomorrow night because I am going out for drinks with my girl Sharon. We aren't going anywhere fancy--just to my favorite little gritty dive bar--but she has been on this organic raw food health kick for like a year and honestly, while I think that was wonderful for her, I really missed knocking back a few and giggling with her. I did.
-Laughlin River Run with the two craziest girls I know. Should be a pool-loungin', beer drinkin', Harley ridin', old man avoidin' good time!
This is how I keep life from depressing the shit out of me. I get jazzed up. Over anything :)
