[ it's been a while since jacob last touched his journal and that's a problem. it's a lazy monday! so he's got no qualms about doing something silly. ]Hey, Luceti. I've got a game for you. It's called "who would win"? So, I'll give you a pair of things to fight. Then everyone speculates on who would win in a fight. All you've got to do is consider ( Read more... )

... Huh. A game, is it? [ For a moment she's quiet, as if she's considering the whole idea of playing a game, but when she speaks up she's instead giving the answer already. ]

That one's pretty easy. It would just depend on whether they're in the water or not. I doubt a shark could fight outside the water.

What about if the shark was able to fight outside of the water. In zero-gravity or something?

Even if it's zero-gravity, the argument still stands, right? Sharks need to stay in water for them to be able to breathe, while I'm pretty sure a tiger couldn't survive underwater for long. No matter what kind of environment they fight in, one of the two is always going to have a penalty.

I figure that there's some scientist genetically modifying them to put them on more even ground.

[ There's a slight huff. ]

That's taking it a bit far out of context, isn't it? But fine.. How do you suppose they would be genetically modified?

Blaming everything on them.. How convenient, fine. And in what way did they genetically modify them?

It seems like a bit of an unlikely scenario, [ understatement ] but it would be a close call, huh? I think a shark would be stronger, but a tiger would be more agile and would have the advantage that way.. So I'll put my money on the tiger, figurally speaking.

I always bet on the big cat. Favorite animal or not, a shark has nothing on them. [ hmmm. ] You got a matchup?

[ She seems to think in silence for a moment, but then speaks up, as deadpan as usual. ]

How about a witch and a dragon?
