Hi! I guess I'm a New Feather? That's what we're called, right? My name's Inoue Orihime and- um... well I can't really think of a legend, but I know a lot of ghost stories! Some of them are even true!

It's really okay? Mm! Alright then. I heard this one from-... from my friend Sado-kun.

[She clears her throat and tries to make her voice sound spooky. Though it just seems a little over-the-top and silly more than anything.]

There was once a cute little parakeet. He had a sweet voice, just like a child, but no one could keep him for long. There was a curse, the parakeet would say, and every time someone new came to own him, a terrible fate would befall them! It made the little parakeet so sad, to always be alone, so finally, a strong man found him.

"I won't let you be sad anymore," he told the parakeet. And it was true. For a while, the man lived with the parakeet and they were happy. And sometimes bad things happened, and the man got hurt, but he didn't leave the parakeet.

But then it turns out the parakeet-

oh- um! W-well it might be. The names have been changed to protect the innocent! Haha, or something. Is that not okay?
