[Today, Jacob has apparently decided to forego his complete and utter hatred for the Cullens. Today, he's marching around the village, holding a picket sign. Perhaps this wouldn't be sch a strange sight - the sign seems to be a normal protest sign, clearly reading 'Vampires are People Too!' on one side, and 'Smiles not Stakes' on the other

[Though he places his free hand on his hip, the other still holding the sign proudly aloft, and grins slightly.] They're thinking, breathing creatures - okay, maybe not technically breathing, but they deserve a chance.
[A pause. Jacob wrinkles his nose. Those words sound gross. Why did he pick this job again?]

Oh, me? I'm all for chances. But experience tells me that most of those chances they'll take will have have them chomping down on your neck.

Not all of them. [Okay, here he hesitates.] I'm saying give them a few rights - they're still leeches and need to be watched constantly, but they'd probably like to vote or something like that.
