I have resigned from my job.

I've had HORRIFIC migraines for nearly two months resulting in visits to the emergency room, the hospital, several medications, a CT scan, shots, etc.  Some physicians believe it's stress, some believe it's allergies.  Won't know for sure until I see the neurologist in June.  I've been nauseous, I've had a burning ( Read more... )

Did you ever find out what was the deal with the migraines?

Sounds like it was stress and/or high blood pressure.

I recently also was suffering so horribly from panic attacks. They are the devil...seriously.

They don't know for sure yet, even after an MRI. Don't even have high blood pressure.

I had panic attacks too, but I think THOSE were stress-related to all the moving (we moved from Arizona to Houston to San Angelo in less than a month and then after two weeks moved from the Air Force hotel to our house).

Are you still having problems with panic attacks? You may just want to go to places pissed off like me, it helps lol.

Did they check for cysts and stuff? Is that what the MRI was for?

Whoa that's a lot of moving. Why so much??

I'm not really having the attacks anymore. Every now and then I do get dizzy, claustrophobic and unusual thoughts as I did when I was having the attacks. But it's very mild...thank god.

What helped me a lot was to do research on what, why, how on panic attacks to understand wtf was going on with me. Then at work, with the help of my best friend, I would just "float with the symptoms". It helped so much.

They checked for a lot of things including brain tumors and aneurysms (not sure what else) and found nothing with it.

And all the moving was due to the military lol. We did a quick move from Houston, but we left a lot of stuff behind, so on our way to San Angelo we had to go back to Houston to pick our stuff up and get rid of the apartment and then drive back here. The housing situation is horrible here, so we had to live out of a hotel for 3 weeks before we found a place to live.

Man that's crazy! Have you been to a doctor for that?

It's always good to do research on what ails you, though sometimes you don't really want to know -_-. Glad you have things under control though. What kind of work do you do?

I'm assuming you're in the military? Are you also from El Paso?

And yeah I went to a local doctor's office first who referred me to a cardiologist, then the e.r. and then to the cardiologist. The whole time I felt my heart skipping, pumping like crazy and just out of whack. I went to the e.r. because I had an ugly tightness and pressure in my chest, I was anxious and I couldn't breathe and I figured I was going to die from a heart attack.

They didn't find anything wrong with my heart or thyroid. It's a long story...lol. In a nutshell, nobody knows for sure wtf but they claim it's probably panic attacks.

And I work at a department store; I'm a sales person.

I'm not in the military, my husband is. And yup, I was born and raised in El Paso, still go visit from time to time since all my friends and family are there.

That's some scary shit. If I felt like my heart was about to explode I'd be screaming my head off lol. It's weird they didn't find anything... and if it's panic attacks they would've referred you to a psychologist o.O

Ew, you have to deal with people! Customer service sucks, sorry to hear lol. Please don't tell me it's Dillard's or JC Penney, you poor kid!

So you're married..eh?

Yes it was one of the scariest things that has ever happened to me. They didn't refer me to a psych. though.

And yes I have to deal with all sorts of attitudes from people, mostly peeps from JUAREZ. It's better than working at Wal-Mart (and I worked there for a long time). No, it's not JC Penny or Dillard's. Take another guess.

Annnnd...I'm no kid. I'm 23. lol
