It's The Little Things...

Last night, Dad and I went to Wal-mart together. I got some things I needed, and so did he. Then we bought some Valentine's Day candy that was on sale and went home. On the way, Taylor Swift's song You Belong With Me came on the radio. I turned it up, and we both screamed it as we went down the highway.
Once we were home, we sat in the living room, turned the lights off, and ate the candy as we watched The Patriot. I've seen that movie about a thousand times, but it never gets old. I love it, and so does he.
It was a a nice, rare memory that I think I'd like to keep of my father. I know Dad and I argue a lot, and I know I've said horrible things about him, but when it comes down to it, I love him. I'm a daddy's girl, and I know it. He's been there for me every time I've needed him. He pushed me through softball, he bought me my trumpet, and he's been to every single band concert. When I fail, Dad doesn't sugar coat it. He tells me I fucked up, and he shows me how to make it better. He helps me correct my mistakes, and I love him for it.
Love you, Dad

I've been texting Robby and doing laundry all day. Robby was playing Call of Duty 2 earlier and he went a round undefeated. He had 17 kills, 1 assist, and 0 deaths. He was really proud of himself, and I guess he had reason to be. I was really glad that he was happy, but I didn't see it the way he did. He was happier because it was his accomplishment, not mine. Still, glad you did it, Robby! :D
