Sometimes Quitters Win

Sep 26, 2011 12:15

Mondays suck. We all know that. Woke up late, no shower, no time to straighten my hair or put makeup on. No time for the frivolous things in life.

Classes were slow, and painful to hear. History felt more like a sermon, and Sociology left me brain dead. Went home, ate some spaghetti o's with cheese on top, and asked Terry to look at my front passenger side tire. It's flat again. I need a new one.
And I can hear my wallet crying already.

I just smoked my last cigarette. I'm quitting. I want to get rid of this stupid cough, I want to save money, and I need need NEED to start taking care of myself if Conor and I EVER get a chance to start our family...

Quitting is smart. Financially, mentally, and physically. I just smoked my last one, at noon.

...And I want another.

class, boyfriend, college, smoking, school, family, money
