1. My brother Mike's selfish attitude about life
2. My weight. (Please let it change for the better.)
3. America. I'd like it to be the way the Founders intended it to be.
4. Jim's abusive attitude towards women.
5. My relationship with Robby. (Less arguing, more love.)

Last night I baked a cake (yes, another cake project) for my pre-calc class. I made a roller coaster (curves with icing, easy as pie lol) using sine and cosine curves. It was fun. :)
I forgot a knife though and so my class didn't get to eat it. I cut it at lunch (snagged a knife from the lunch line) and passed it out to people I knew...and some I didn't. ^_^
I love to bake. It's a stress-free hobby for me that makes other people happy.
Seriously, who wouldn't want free cake?
Robby didn't eat any. He claims he's trying to lose weight, which makes me feel incredibly bad, considering I weigh more than him.
Quite a bit more, actually.
Starting May 1 I'm putting myself on a diet. It won't really be a diet, but more of a "switch". Instead of drinking soda, I'll grab a water. After school I'll skip the peanut butter and have some broccoli (I actually like broccoli), and I'll walk after dinner. I don't want to make huge drastic changes to my eating patterns, things that I'll feel are impossible, but I think that if I make slow, steady changes and start eating right I'll lose weight.
Well. That's the plan. :)
After school I went to see Mrs. K, my latin teacher. I explained to her that I'm suffering in Latin, and that I actually dread coming to class because I don't understand it. She was completely understanding, and she told me about how some of her more advanced kids are tutors. Then she set me up with one of them: Sue. Sue's in the band, a flute player, so I already knew who she is. And even though she's a freshman, she's in Latin 4! (Amber's a senior and she's in Latin 4.) Sue and I went in an empty classroom and looked over my homework, but we didn't get much done on it. Instead we went over basics, and she let me copy a chart about participle phrases that I'd missed while I was out.
Sue's so nice, and I actually learned a few things.
Thursdays after school may not be painful. :) Especially since I'm getting my act together, and I know how important this is to me passing.
In case you didn't know: I REALLY WANT TO PASS
