Comin' Up...
Last night Dad and I went to the Outlets in Queen Anne, to find me some new hiking boots. We finally found some in L.L. Bean, which charged an arm and a leg, but hopefully these will last longer than the old ones.
We also walked around and went in a few stores, looking for prom dresses. I found a BEAUTIFUL dress in Dress Barn that I LOVED, but it wasn't a prom-type dress. It was white, with red and yellow tulips all across the bottom part, complete with a red ribbon belt. It was so cute! And when I tried it on, I actually thought I looked cute in it. It's hard to find a dress that compliments me. Most make my broad shoulders look worse, but this one had the opposite effect. It made them look nice.
But I knew that Dad had just spend a ton on the boots, and dress cost just as much as the boots (no lie), so I let it go. I'll wait until Mom comes down next weekend.

MOM AND TERRY ARE COMING DOWN NEXT WEEKEND!!!
I'm so excited! I can't wait to see them! We're going shopping for prom. :D

Today and tomorrow I have to start packing. Monday-Wednesday is the Smith Island trip, and I can't wait! Three days of nothing but Chesapeake Bay...
It's going to be heaven. :)
