I-I'm on my way back, Captain... [ and unspoken goes sorry I was gone. ]
[ They return him a good ways out in the forest, like they have any number of people; dirty jumpsuit and matted fur, not entirely sure what's going on anymore. Bepo wakes up and comes just short of panicking at the unexpected change in scenery- before it occurs to him that this is open air, which means he's in the open, which means he's probably back in the larger-cage option again.
It's probably not something to be relieved about, but when it comes down to it, he's got breathing room and this is where the Captain is (you can't be someone's right-hand bear if you're not around to be at your Captain's right hand, can you?). And really, that's all he needs to know.
At least he can stand on his own and walk. People don't carry dead-weight bears around, for the most part, he's pretty sure- and it means a lack of any number of movement-inhibiting injuries. And so it is that Bepo makes the slow trek to Community Building 2, doing what he can not to hit any particularly populated areas. He's not quite mustering up too much logic-usage, but it definitely occurs to him that disheveled bears shouldn't be wandering into the middle of villages.
(bound to be someone out there who would tell him as much, so why bring on what he can just avoid?)
And maybe he's keeping a sharper eye out than usual while he's doing that, but who could blame him for that much? ]
((s-so very possible the mun will wind up answering tags ~after sleeping~))
