blurred vision

What is everyone's problem? There are some things that you keep to yourself unless people ask and there is no reason to feel guilty for that. I had 3 different people irritated with me yesterday for little trivial bs. Sometimes I cannot fit a business meeting, a workout, a full day of work, errands, and celebrate my sons birthday in 24 hours. Anyways it seems as if everything is just running together right now... muddled if you will. Time has gone by so fast as of late. It has been so very hard lately to come up with personal realizations about life love and the pursuit of happiness. I realize that there are certain people in my life that have no business there, but how do you break that part of your life off? I might not be there yet, but I would like to think I am on the right path. Well for a positive note Ryder's birthday party sunday went very well. I enjoyed the shit out of it. It was nice to be able to cook and celebrate with family and a couple of friends. The only downside was almost no help from Tasha. I planned and executed everything, and although I designated responsibility to others at the end of the day it was all me. Oh yeah also my step brother took me for a ride in his car which was fun. It was like old times, going too fast and just hanging out. I really miss he and I hanging like we used to. That was really the first time in a while I went 130 in a car which was fun, just blood pumping passing state troopers. Grabbing an oh shit grip and hanging on. So yesterday was Ryder's official birthday, and Tasha and I took him to Chuck E Cheese. I did not know how he would be and he was super excited, which made me so happy. It is pretty sweet because the games were pretty awesome, and its cheap. Fuck Dave and Busters I am going to start bringing a flask to Chuck E Cheese. For 20$ you get a large pizza, 30 tokens, and 4 drinks. And the best part of it is that all the games cost only 1 token, you know ive got to tear up the driving games. We had to drag Ryder out of there. So I have this idea of buying 5 record frames for my house and putting the top 5 records that really changed me in my formitable years. Which is nearly impossible. However I have been record shopping to find that a whole lot of the stuff I want is out of print or very rare. That just means more money! So here is the list, and I have not completely decided on.

1. Mike Ness- Cheating At Solitare (extremely rare on vinyl, however I went to Vinyl Edge with an ex in high school and remember her buying it brand new... found one on ebay and the auction is over in 2 hours with a current bid of 32$, better than the other person I found with one for the low price of 149.99$)
2. The Queers- Punk Rock Confidential (I still remember the first time I heard the album, or a queers song. 10th grade with Mr. Blake Bristow, somewhat rare because after the founder of lookout records died they have not really been doing anything... no mail order. That is sad because that was the place to get records and punk rock gear when I was younger)
3. Tiger Army- III: Ghost Tigers Rise (still to this day something I listen to on a regular basis... Somewhat rare, but readily available for around 25$, considering its out of print that is not bad)
4. Nofx- White Trash, Two Heebs, And A Bean (Fat Wreck Chords/ Epitaph does not have it available however I found it for pretty cheap, and bought it today)
5. Rancid- And Out Come The Wolves... (I purchased this on vinyl for my little brother a couple of years ago, however I want the one on white vinyl not the picture vinyl... I know picky, but I am a nerd for record sleeves. Thats the whole purpose of having records on display on your walls though... the sleeves right?)

Fighting For Spots:
1. Operation Ivy- Self Titled (I bought this on vinyl when I was pretty young, and lost it in a break up... bitch! Now years later found it for around 150$)
2. Descendents- Everything Sucks (What can I say... classic. Of course its out of print, but can be found pretty easily. I want it on white vinyl)
3. Social Distortion- Self Titled (Ahh... Found one for pretty cheap and am planning on buying it!)
4. Shutdown- Against All Odds (My first true hardcore album, and the birth of my affinity for hardcore music... I purchased this on vinyl yesterday. Its pretty hard to find usually, I just got lucky. I doubt that it will make it on the wall, but I am excited to own it on vinyl.)
5. Exploited- Live On Stage (Hey if you love the Exploited enough to get a tattoo you should love them enough to put them up on your wall. I owned this, which was bought by an ex girlfriend as a christmas present on vinyl. Just to be lost years later in a break up. I owned the rare version clear pink vinyl. Hopefully I can find that again)

So heres to buying things on vinyl that you already own!!!
