The Da Vinci Code comes out this Thurs YAYYYY!!!!! Haven't looked forward to a movie so much since... well... LOTR heh *buries nose in books* I must've been a librarian in a past life. Anyway we prob won't be able to see it this week coz all the cinemas will be like booked out by churches grr... I read somewhere that one church was gona give everyone some booklet to make notes in while they're watching... how cruel can you guys get?? Then again if they don't do their homework they can always go home and borrow the book ^_^
I'm surprisingly awake for someone who's had consistently 6-7 hrs sleep every night for the past 3 wks. I literally leapt out of bed this morning to start writing my speech for Edith's 21st. Went to Nora's 21st last night at the Cheltenham Recreation Club, she was trying to make us play lawn bowls in like 14-degree weather! So I toasted marshmallows instead. Over a BRASIER (pronounced BRAY-zhuh for the one who told me otherwise, thank god I looked it up before casually slipping it into conversation).
The past couple of 21sts have been pretty good, Anita looked absolutely bootiful and Nora sat on a throne during speeches (only the best for that girl). But I think I'm gona hafta start wearing polar bear skins from now on, it's soooo cold at night. Geneva was wearing a reddish brown fur last night and I was like ooh and she's like it's fox and I go haha yeh it looks like a dead fox without the head *stroke stroke* and she goes... no really. Apparently her mum wears one with the head still attached. A dead fox. Draped around her shoulders.
So anyway it's Mother's Day today which means my mum HAS to be in a good mood. We're going for yum cha mmm... my pre-menstrual hormones are looking forward to it muchly. Bubye for now!
