She'll open your mouth wide and eat your heart.

The rain has finally decided to be a good little girl and bring down a little elegance. It's a lovely break from the hot/bleakful weather that has constantly been us here. Maybe I should wish for rain & teardrops to wash away these bad dreams, but that wouldn't seem right. The difficulty I face, it holds meaning in my life, just as my talents and beauty. Fate was never known to be a kind soul, but lucky enough she is a fair lass. I wish not to wipe way the tears, yet hold the persistent faith that has undoubtingly brought me here. After all we are human at most, and to deny our emotions and sensitivity is like cutting off the very blood flowing to the heart. Those bleak times are present for a reason, to strengthen our faith within ourselves. The only true person can hold us back is ourselves.

Classes being in less than a week, and finally then I can start get myself properly motivated. I've been working little and little over the summer, but not as much as I has had planed. The weather doesn't help my spirits either, the heat can really drain a lot out of me very fast. There are a few project I wish to finish before summer ends. Recently I've been wanting to compose photographs that deal with deep color contrast. A series with tones of eggshell white and deep clothed sable of a top hat. Anyways... the thoughts are still mixing around in my head. The final vision of it is blurred at the moment, but as the process goes on the thoughts will sharpen. As does life.

Sorry for the lack of real updates. In all honesty not much has been going on other than working. Though I am quite sure things will pick up soon.

What we must fight against at this moment is our destructive tendency to take only personal interest into account, which leads to venality, to the flattering of consciences, to all these infamies that we see around us.
~Sir Wilfrid Laurier

Every day I am aware of the flow and constant change; perhaps I am at the edge of discovering what more our bodies might be able to teach about the spirit of life. At least, I am always exploring and trying to understand our relationship to the whole universe. ~Ruth Bernhard

Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence. ~Henry David Thoreau

"If Michelangelo or Leonardo da Vinci were around today, they'd have a Macintosh."
~Euripides 'Rip' Kastaris (A greek born artist living in St. Louis, his artwork will be mainly featured in the 2004 Olympics located in Athens.)
