1. Where did your LJ handle come from?
I was broken up with and indulging myself dramatically. I am kinda embarassed of my LJ handle. I have another LJ account [eyes_shyward] where i post to and monitor knitting groups, and am friends with local Bellingham people.
2. How do you style your hair?
I don't, unless i blowdry. Actually this drives me crazy since i'm growing my hair out and it gets frizzy on the sides. I am on the verge of trying product for the first time ever. Anyone have recommendations?
3. What is making you happy right now?
My new job as an 8th grade Special Ed teacher. It's what i've been working toward for the past 3 years.
4. What are you currently reading?
Two things- Watchmen [but i left it in my friends car] and a big novel called "Islands". It's an epic about the first people who colonized South Africa and the results of the first marraige between a native South African woman and a Dutch man. It's slow going so far, but i am giving it a good try since it's 700+ pages.
5. Do you need music to study/write?
If i am reading i prefer no music, otherwise i like it but don't require it.
6. Who or what do you think about on a daily basis?
knitting, reading.
7. What is the ugliest body part?
I agree with Annissa on this one. Also, I love to appreciate people's body parts.
8. In what part of the news do you have absolutely zero interest?
Sports.
9. What is your favorite movie genre?
dark comedy.
10. What was the last thing you ate today?
mango.
11. What is your favorite color?
traditionally it's been blue, even though i don't wear it often. I tend toward dark colors, black, brown, purple.
12. What's in your bag?
Nothing right now, but usually a knitting project and a book.
13. What's your favorite food?
fruit
14. Which languages do you wish you spoke?
Spanish, which i am currently taking classes to learn.
15. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Snapping or poking to get my attention.

Yes.
17. Which countries have you visited?
Ireland, England, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Canada. Hopefully this summer i can include a couple Central American Countries.
18. Where would you like your next holiday to be?
Santa Fe New Mexico.

This is a busy day, and i shouldn't be doing this meme. Uhm....i am planning on seeing a movie with my [oh-so-recent] ex boyfriend- either Revolutionary Road or Benjamin Button.

Well, i wasn't tagged, i just took it upon myself. I do remember in high school when i used to ask her to sing a particular song from Les Miserables. She sounded so lovely!
