Strange, i didnt expect to hear a response from him. What i did get is cryptic. I thought either he had met someone, gotten someone pregnant and decided to "do the right thing" or somehow landed himself in jail.
Well, here it is, the response [the words that are underlined and in bold are from the message, i cant change them] :
Dear Carmen,
So I gather my resolve and yet a reponse from you makes me think: "well, really, where's the harm in a *brief* exception?".
You have...something...Miss Carmen. But I will be strong and resist you.
To explain: I went out for a casual drink about a month ago and then I can't remember what happened after that! ;-)
I'll just say that I've had a CRAZY month and my personal life has just spun out of control.
Carmen, you - believe me - seem to me like a bit of an oasis - a pure, simple, delightful alternative to a lot of confusion of the heart - but life isn't really simple, is it?
I know you'll be snatched up and married by the time I get out of all this. So have a lovely wedding and a lovely honeymoon and I will swoop into your bedroom window some evening, kidnap you and take you onto my pirate ship.
We'll have tea in my cabin.
