Summary: After Dean says yes and the world doesn't end, Sam has to learn how to live without his brother. His coping skills are not exactly up to the task, until Castiel goes off on a quest to find Dean's soul and comes back with Deanna Winchester from an alternate universe. Now Sam has a whole new set of problems with deal with, and if he can let himself, a whole lot of unexpected joys.
Notes: I'll have some proper ones at the end, but right here I'll just say that this was not a story that I ever meant to write, but apparently, it was determined to be written anyway, and I'm kind of glad it was.
