So today was the first day of class. Man, did I ever screw myself on my scheduling. Thursdays, I'm in class from 9:30 to 10:45, then I have an hour and a half to kill, then I'm in class for another hour fifteen, then I have two hours to kill, and then I have a three hour night class. I think that night class only meets about seven or eight times the entire semester, but that doesn't really make me feel better because it's my senior seminar class, and I'm going to spend the entire semester working on that one big research paper. KILL ME NOW.

On the constructive side, I spent a lot of today working on two meta essays about women's relationships in fantasy, and Mary Sues and how they're seen in fandom, using mainly Robin McKinley as an example. I suspect that by the time I'm out of class tomorrow, I will have them both finished.

Isn't it a bad sign that I always write the most when I'm in class? I think that's a bad sign.
