Okay, so, probably nobody cares about this, but...

One of the first episodes of SG-1 I ever saw was a very low-quality download of the episode "Frozen." At the time, I was mostly wondering, "where the hell was Daniel?" since I think I'd seen the movie and then a couple episodes in third season or thereabouts, so I was confused as to where my favorite character disappeared to. And also, there was this guy Jonas, and I had seen that actor before, and it bugged the holy living hell out of me.

Does that happen to anyone else, or am I just unlucky that way?

I was pretty sure he'd been a bad guy, but other than that- nothing. Either way, I was always too lazy to look it up, so I forgot about it. And then today I was messing around on my computer and stumbled over a wallpaper that had a screencap from the Smallville season one episode "Zero," and low and behold, who was the all-american handsome guy playing Jude Royce and his stalker clone? (not literal clone- this is smallville, I feel the need to clarify) Why, it was Corin Nemec, who plays, you got it, Jonas Quinn on Stargate. Incoherent victory noises commenced.

I made another discovery along the same lines this morning, though less from serendipity and more because I was bored and wide awake when I wanted to be asleep and so was looking things up. I haven't actually seen most of Dr. Who yet, since they've only aired though "The Doctor Dances" here on Scifi, but I'd seen alot of pictures and stuff of the tenth doctor, and I thought he looked incredibly familiar, too. So I went and looked him up on IMDB- he played that psycho Death Eater, the one who pretended to be Mad-Eye Moody, in the latest Harry Potter movie.

That's it, really. Nothing of importance to add, just my personal triumph over that niggling, persistent feeling of "where have I seen them before..."

sg-1, smallville, dr. who
