Their tops are made of rubbers, the bottoms are made of springs!
They're bouncy, flouncy, trouncy, pouncy,
Fun, fun, fun, fun, FUN!!!
More fun! I should write more about my dad sometime very soon. My dad is very cool, and very weird. Sometimes I think he's way weirder than I am, which is saying A LOT.
Anyway, I think my dad's going to come out dancing with me next
Clown College($1 cover/$1 wells)! I was thinking my dad would love most of the music played last Tuesday, and invited him to come out with me. His response: "Can I wear my zoot suit?"
I've invited my dad to meet many of my friends over the years. They've all *really* liked him. Of course, the people I introduce him to are also wackos like me, and like him.
We had a great talk, and I feel really good. My dad dispenses bits of wisdom in snippets. "So as I'm getting older I have discovered the real secret to everything. Not the secret that you get from those fake gurus. I have found the real secret is this: You gotta figure it out for yourself, no one else can show you how." That's my dad. I feel really lucky to have a parent so cool. I told him once that just having him as a dad totally made up for Mom.
Jeez I've had a lot to post in the last 24 hours! Funny thing is, I've been doing a lot more listening & watching when I go out, so when I turn all focus on center I feel all sorts of energetic & ideamatic. ::grin:: It's a powerful & creative space to be.
I'm really looking forward to dancing tonight. I'll be going to the Vogue, since I am still at the moment playing the role of 'perpetually broke girl'. At some point this evening, a bevy of lovely women will descend upon the Vogue, and I will join them for some Power Puff action. w00t!
I'm still jazzed that I get to have "special father-daughter time" with my dad this weekend & next week. We haven't really hung out since the middle of summer, and this is getting fixed asap. ::bounce bounce bounce::
Now on to housecleaning. :)
