new puppy!
The job at the Nature Center is going well. Even though I am the "sub" I am already booked for three weeks of camp! We have been in training for the past two weeks; which was sometimes boring but sometimes very fun. My favorite days so far were the days we went "caving" (spelunking) and canoing. In fact I liked the caving so much that I am going to sub for a guy that decided he doesn't like it. Almost three weeks of his job this summer is caving! Most of the employees are nice and agreeable. I am looking forward to working with the kids next week.
On another note Lea brought me a new puppy last weekend! She is a German Shepard, maybe a bit of a mix, and is about 8-10 weeks old. I have named her Nico and she is the most adorable pet in the world! I am having to learn a whole new set of tricks because I have never raised a pup before. I bought "puppies for dummies" and have already spent $130 on her!
