It's been a long long while since the SB fanfic archive Walk of Shame went offline. Also a while since I've updated my fairly complete list of SB fics (sheesh, I'll have to track it down now, goodness knows if I even bookmarked it). So, I figure it's about time to take some initiative. Now that I've figured out the most basic basics of
wordpress, I

Seriously, OK, if you're willing to help out with configuring a wordpress blog-remaked-archive, I'm not against slowly getting the project started.
I've only yesterday emailed with one of the mods of a big efiction-based archive, and they deffinitely settled my mind against using it in any near future. Too many bugs, to keep the explanation short. (I suppose I could set up another Automated Archive, but I don't have *that* kind of time free.) I know wordpress allowes signed-up members to post, so that should be good for tackling the authors posting their own stuff part of the job.
OK, so. First of, contact info. Other than the chat-thingies listed in my profile, my email is this username at yahoo dot com, if you want to keep in touch that way. If not, I have an lj entry in my journal about this project; we can move the discussion there so we don't overload this post with comments.
Next, what's your schedule time-wise, i.e. when would you have the time to devote to tinkering with this project? I have most weekends and some week-day evenings free in the forseeable future, so I'm fine either way.
After that comes the wordpress question - have you worked with a blog/site using it before, if not do you want a test blog set up so you can see what's what, etc, etc?
As for the rest, well. I'm still hoping for more interest from the public, but a handful of helping hands is much more than I had before, so I'm happy with slowly shuffling towards a starting point.
Have I said thanks already? *smooches you*

I seem to have misplaced your email addy, and it's been a long while since I've heard from you, so. I was wondering if you're still up to helping me out with setting up the SB archive.
Wordpress proved to be mainly PHP powered, which I have no clue how to use, so I'm semi-decided on another automated archive. Either that, or just a good del.icio.us account.
I'd love it if you could let me know if you're still willing to lend a hand, as it were. Happy holidays and all that. :-)
