Although M did cart me around to a bunch of bridal stores, we are not engaged, we are not getting married and we are quite blissfully happy with us just the way we are. Sorry to alarm, inadvertently mislead, or cause anticipation of a celebration of an event that we will joyously never partake of. We are perfectly happy to keep the State from contractually dictating the parameters of our relationship.
The bridal store scavenger hunt was all about my dress for the NOTOCON banquet not having arrived and my panic that I may have to attend the event in "unsavage" attire and while that might prove entertaining, neither of us are well versed in public nudity laws in Washington and we don't have money for bail.
My panic was unwarranted as the dress I ordered arrived yesterday and I now have two lovely, never-before-worn new dresses purchased especially for his viewing pleasure. Cause when you find that man, that man who is a King amongst Kings, he deserves to see you walk through the room in something meant just for him...
So our quest was for an evening gown and not for "that other" attire. Thanks for the well wishes anyway.
We are however registered at Nordstrom's, Sak's, and Deborah's for those who see fit to indulge us anyhow ;-)
