SPN 2x19: "Folsom Prison Blues"
I don't really have anything to say here, I just feel like this episode was SO GOOD that it needs a post. :-)
I love Deacon! He's my new favorite character. :-) I can't wait to watch this episode again, partly just to watch Deacon's interactions with the boys knowing who he is. (Like, maybe I won't get as freaked out when he calls Sam "sweetheart." LOL)
The ghost freaked me the fuck out. I screamed a little when her eyes first appeared.
The "What are you, from Texas?" joke was very funny. Hee. Of course, Sam said the word "brother" with such a THICK Texas accent later... maybe there's something Dean doesn't know? ;-)
Um. I'm sure there's a lot more to say--there certainly was a HELL of a lot more that I LOVED, considering I loved EVERYTHING about this episode, but it all kind of flew out of my mind when I saw the PROMO for next week!!
Partly because earlier I was reading through estrella30's kissing post and there was a drabble in the comments about Mary reading Dean to sleep and giving him a little kiss on the head, AND specifically, there was a thought from her that she wished he would stay small because she knew a day would come when he'd be too big, too much of a man, to let her kiss him anymore. And *I* immediately thought, well, if she hadn't died perhaps that would've been the case, but WHAT WOULDN'T DEAN GIVE FOR A KISS FROM HIS MOMMA NOW.
I hadn't been spoiled for next week. But having had that thought just earlier today, and getting to see Dean hug his momma in the promo--OMG, just. DEAN. Hugging his mom! I! This show will be the death of me. I can't even handle it.
