A couple of years ago there were some places in the SPN fandom where if you posted pictures of Jensen and Danneel the comments would explode into a gross, misogynistic, Danneel-is-a-beard-and-Jensen-really-can't-stand-her type of fight. Or not even a fight, sometimes it was just a straight-up consensus.
Anyway, I've been basically out of the fandom since around that time, but I still keep spnnewsletter on my flist to skim sometimes, and when I clicked on this link just now, I kind of braced myself when I got to the comments, but... I guess things have changed? Everybody was being so sweet! Though frankly J/D look so gorgeous and lovely and in love in those pictures idk how the anti-Danneel arguments could ever hold up.
So, um, basically this post is a rec to look at these adorable photos of bearded!Jensen and not-a-beard!Danneel. Because they're adorable. Goodnight.
